Filing Alert: Avant Gardner (Brooklyn Mirage Owner) Chapter 11
Brooklyn Mirage Owner Avant Gardner Files Chapter 11 in District of Delaware
Update (August 5, 2025): Bondoro has published a full case summary for the Avant Gardner Chapter 11 filing.

AGDP Holding Inc. (dba Avant Gardner), and its debtor affiliates⁽¹⁾, a Brooklyn, NY-based live music and event operator best known for the Brooklyn Mirage venue, filed for Chapter 11 protection on Aug. 4 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
The filing follows the company’s failure to open its flagship Brooklyn Mirage venue for the 2025 season due to permitting issues, triggering a liquidity crisis, contractor disputes, and aggressive collection efforts. The debtors intend to pursue a sale of substantially all assets under a court-supervised process, supported by DIP financing from prepetition lenders who are expected to credit bid as stalking horse.
The company reports $50 million to $100 million in assets and $100 million to $500 million in liabilities. The filing indicates that there will be funds available for distribution to unsecured creditors. The case number is 25-11446.
